Glasgow Gladiators may not be in the running for medals this year in the National Football League but, the team are all winners and working together to build their club into the best it can be.
It’s not just all about the football, it’s about being a team and having fun together. Fun they did have when they kicked off the Santa Dash in George Square last December. That event boosted the funds of the club and has enabled the players to fund additional training nights. There have been other fundraising activities also, e.g. pin badge sales.
Club Fundraising Manager, Ross Livingston has presented medals to the top fundraisers in 2016. Ross also recognised every player at the club as every one of them contributed to the club funds in 2016.
Top Fundraiser Award 2016 went to Eddie Kirkwood. Eddie managed to sell 450 of the club’s pin badges in a month. Together with his Santa Dash sponsorship, Eddie raised a total of £997.05 for the club.
Top Fundraiser Award for the Santa Dash went to Ross Munro who raised a total £446.
The club would like to thank Ross Livingston, Eddie Scott and Alex McGarvey who have come on board and helped enormously in making 2016 a year to remember.
Next up is The St Patrick’s Day Charity Ball on 11th March.
