The SPFA Committee can confirm the final MDUK league event scheduled for April 19th has been cancelled/postponed. A decision on how we complete the league will be agreed in due course.

It is obvious that many of our players have underlying health conditions and are therefore more vulnerable to the virus. We are considering advise from NHS, Government and the SFA when making our decisions.

With this in mind the SPFA Executive Committee are recommending all Powerchair Football is suspended until further notice, this includes club training sessions. It is ultimately each individual club’s decision on whether they follow this recommendation.

We know this will be disappointing but the health and safety of our players, officials and families is absolutely paramount.

We would advise everyone to follow guidelines set out by health authorities in managing their own health and hygiene.

We will consider the situation again at the end of April and consider the position in relation to the PowerSoccerShop.com Scottish Cup scheduled for May 31st.
