At today’s AGM the outcome of the 2019/20 Premiership and Championship season was announced. Following discussion and a vote by the SPFA committee it was agreed to end both leagues with the outcome decided by current standings.

This means that Tayside Dynamos are crowned Champions of the MDUK Premiership, Riverside had already clinched the Championship but this decision confirms that remains the case. Congratulations to both teams, well deserved over the season.

At this point there is no decision on when the 2020/21 season will commence, we are following guidance given by the SFA, who in turn liaise with the Scottish Government. We will also liaise with FIPFA and EPFA and obviously we need to fully consider the needs of the players, many of whom are in the shielding category. We are desperate to get back playing but will not risk the health and wellbeing of players to do so.
