FOOTBALL IS BACK

Everyone at the SPFA is delighted with the return of football in 2022 which kicked off with the development league.
The league which has been specifically designed to enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in powerchair football was attended by players from across the country. Hosted at ThePeak in Stirling, the day event allows for participants to build their confidence in playing powerchair football and meet new friends before playing in any of the National Leagues with their respective clubs.

The development league is the most recent addition to the SPFA calendar and the executive board were thrilled to see the day go down so well. Chairperson Craig Peattie said “It is great to see so many players from up and down the country, especially new faces who have never played before. Our associate clubs have bought into the league plus organisations across Scotland who are looking to create new clubs.”.

The next development league day will be hosted on Sunday 10th April 2022 at ThePeak in Stirling 10am – 12pm.
